Lobwise is a padel scoreboard app. It is built to collect nothing. There is no account, no sign-up, and no login. We do not run analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind, and no personal information is sent to us or to anyone else.
Your settings (team names, language, golden-point rule, paired-clicker details) and the current match score are saved locally on your device so the app can pick up where you left off. A short rolling diagnostic log is also kept locally to help troubleshoot problems if you ask us for support. None of this leaves your device, and none of it is readable by us. Deleting the app removes it all.
If you pair a Bluetooth “clicker” button, the app uses Bluetooth only to receive your button presses during a match. It stores the pairing on your device so it can reconnect. No other Bluetooth data is accessed or kept.
The score is announced using your device’s built-in text-to-speech. Nothing is recorded, and the microphone is not used.
If you choose to use a Garmin watch as the clicker, the app talks to the watch through the Garmin Connect™ app on your phone: it receives your button presses and sends the current score to the watch to display. This happens locally between your phone and watch. Lobwise does not store or transmit any of it, and does not access your Garmin account, health, or activity data. Your use of Garmin Connect is governed by Garmin’s own privacy policy.
The “Recommended gear” section opens your device’s web browser to third-party sites such as Amazon or flic.io. Those sites have their own privacy policies. Lobwise may earn a small commission from purchases made through those links, at no extra cost to you. No personal information is shared with them by the app.
The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect information from anyone — because it does not collect information at all.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
